    The 7th Annual Afrofestival Ottawa 2026 takes place over three days:

    Routes to Mooney's Bay

    1. Drive In and Out routes to Canada Post parking from Heron Rd.

    2. Drive In route into Mooney's Bay from Riverside Dr.

    3. Drive In route from Walkley.

    4. Drive out route to Riverside Drive from Mooney's Bay.

    Mooney’s Bay Park & Beach Address:  2960 Riverside Dr, Ottawa, ON K1V 8N4

    • Ticket required to access festival grounds

    • No sharp objects allowed

    • No Smoking or Vaping allowed on festival grounds

    • Arrive early as the check-in process may take some time

    • Security will be present at the entrance and will have the authority to search personal property

    • Have your printed tickets ready OR have the ticket barcode on your phone ready to be scanned

    • No outside Food or Drink will be permitted on Festival grounds

  • • A variety of food vendors will serve authentic cuisine throughout the festival.
    • Water and beverages are available for purchase on site.
    • 19+ ID required for alcohol purchases in designated areas.

    Eat & Drink

  • Enjoy the festival with complimentary phone charging stations. These are available behind the Sound Box Production Area for your convenience. If you need help locating the charging stations, feel free to ask festival staff, security, or any official Afrofestival Ottawa representative at any entrance or information point. They’ll be happy to direct you.

  • Afrofestival Ottawa is an admission-free festival made possible through community support, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives led by Africa Live Canada.
     

    Throughout the festival, you may encounter official fundraising activities designed to support:

    • Artist and cultural performer fees

    • Youth mentorship and creative programming

    • Festival operations, safety, and accessibility

    • Community development initiatives led by Africa Live Canada
       

    All fundraising activities are clearly identified and operated by authorized Afrofestival Ottawa staff or volunteers. Contributions are voluntary and help ensure the continued growth and accessibility of the festival.

    All fundraising efforts are clearly identified and operated by authorized Afrofestival Ottawa staff or volunteers. Every contribution helps strengthen community, creativity, and cultural representation.
